The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is all set to make Sachin Tendulkar's 100th international ton a grand one. MCA has decided to present 100 gold coins to the legendary batsman if he reaches the milestone at the Wankhede Stadium. All hopes are now pinned on the Churchgate venue for the batting maestro to score his much-awaited hundred when India take on the West Indies in the third Test commencing on November 22.

"We (MCA) have decided to present Sachin 100 gold coins if he scores his 100th international ton in Mumbai. We had a meeting with our president Vilasrao Deshmukh and he has agreed to the idea," Ravi Savant, MCA's honorary treasurer, told MiD DAY yesterday.
Though the value of the coin is not yet decided, Savant said it could be to the tune of Rs 25 lakh.
"We will soon decide on what should be the weight of each coin," he said. India have already won the three-match Test series 2-0. Tendulkar has scored 121 runs in two matches in this series with 76 runs being the highest so far. Over to the Wankhede!
